We’re looking for a few good brewers… and a few good tasters.
Homebrew Fest go-ers will have a chance to try local home brewed beer from area brewers and take home a commemorative sample glass.
Participating brewers will have a chance to win the homebrew competition.

Relax and sip micro brews of every color, from rich stouts and hoppy IPAs to crisp cream ales and refreshing lagers.
Enjoy carefully curated background music, crackling camp fires, live bands and other special events, yard games, and hearty meals from the best local food trucks.
Always family and leashed-pet friendly. Rain or shine. Shelter is limited, so dress for the weather.

The new outdoor Big Rail Stage is built like a tank! We’re looking forward to showcasing even more great music, from regional favorites to national acts and mini-festivals.

We’re open year round, rain or shine. But it’s Pennsylvania… and around here, it’s best to embrace the seasons. The colder it gets, the bigger the campfires get.

Blue Collar Born & Brewed.
Big Rail is a nickname for 155-pound and 152-pound rail — made incredibly strong to handle the immense weight of ore and coal carried through Pennsylvania’s old-growth forests, across her mighty rivers, and over her foreboding mountains. Likewise, Big Rail Brewing was forged in the wilds of Pennsylvania, and we brew our beer to honor all of the unseen blue collar tradespeople who hold up the immense weight of modern civilization.
We Are Independent.
Big Rail Brewing is a 100% independent craft brewery. (What does that mean?)
But actually, “independent” isn’t entirely accurate: Big Rail exists because our families and friends became our supporters and patrons, and they kept telling us our beer was good.
Whether or not they were right, they kept coming back for more. And telling their friends… and their friends’ friends.
Without their encouragement, constructive feedback, and financial support, we never could have pursued our vision for a funky little brewery in the woods.
